National Skill Championship by MakeIntern & E-Cell (IIT Delhi) in Association with Podar International School, Gandhinagar organizing " Power BI" Certification Programme

About the National Skill Championship: MakeIntern is organizing the National Skill Championship at IIT bringing together talented school students from institutions across India to showcase their business acumen, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. The championship provides a national platform where students develop entrepreneurial thinking, present innovative business ideas, compete with peers from across the country, and gain exposure to industry experts, mentors, and startup ecosystems.

The championship consists of two competitive rounds:

Round 1: Training & Selection (at your school)

• A 2-day hands-on workshop on Microsoft Power BI.
• Students will undergo practical training, project-based learning, and evaluation.
• Top-performing 5 students will qualify for the National Finale.

Round 2: Grand Finale at IIT Delhi

• Qualified students will represent Podar International School, Gandhinagar at IIT Delhi
• They will compete with finalists from schools across the country.
• Winners will receive prizes, certificates, and national-level recognition.
• Accommodation will be provided by MakeIntern for the finalists.

About the Workshop

This workshop introduces school students to the fundamentals of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics using  Power BI. The program focuses on developing analytical thinking, data visualization, and dashboard creation through interactive, hands-on sessions.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basics of Power BI
• Import and prepare data for analysis
• Create interactive charts and dashboards
• Develop simple data models
• Present insights using professional visualizations.
